DEADLINE FOR ONLINE CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES:
KREC COVID EXTENSIONS: It was announced that the State of Emergency is planned to end on January 15, 2022. PLE, CE and CORE Requirements - extended the deadlines until the State of Emergency is concluded, plus thirty (30) days. State of Emergency is lifting on January 15th, 2022 the new deadline will be February 14, 2022.
If you are a licensee that took advantage of the extensions, you will want to make sure you are caught up on your 2020 and 2021 education requirements. You can click here or login into your KREC eServices portal to see what you still need.
The regulations that were put into place on 12/16/2019, advise that providers will not be given additional reporting and upload time. Licensees taking courses after December 21st of the calendar year, may be subject to a cancelled license and will be assessed a $1,000 fine from KREC. WITH THE EXTENSIONS IN PLACE, PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE GIVEN ADDITIONAL REPORTING AND UPLOAD TIME FOR LICENSEES TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE EXTENSION. COURSES TAKEN AFTER FEBRUARY 4TH, 2022, MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CANCELLED LICENSE AND WILL BE ASSESSED A $1,000 FINE FROM KREC. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. WE ARE ADVISING ALL LICENSEES TO COMPLETE ALL REQUIRED EDUCATION PRIOR TO FEBRUARY 4TH, 2022 TO ENSURE YOU WILL BE REPORTED BEFORE FEBRUARY 14TH.
